Scavenger Hunt for School Classes

Explorial is the new and fun scavenger hunt with your smartphone.

School trip with Explorial

The app-based scavenger hunts through various cities worldwide impart knowledge in a fun way.

The goal is to provide interesting facts, partly from history but also from today, to the players. For added fun, a trail always includes creative photo tasks or interesting estimation tasks.

In addition to the outdoor exercise, the participants are mentally challenged by tasks and puzzles. Explorial is a great bonding experience for the class and an ideal alternative to a regular school day.

What age group are Explorial trails suitable for?

The trails are suitable for students aged 10 and above.

What is needed?

Each student requires a smartphone to participate in the scavenger hunt. To do so, the free Explorial app must be downloaded.

Students who do not own a smartphone can solve the tasks together with friends.

How much does it cost?

For school classes we offer a special package deal. The offer applies exclusively to school classes.

A school class ticket is valid for up to 25 pupils. Accompanying persons are free of charge.

How to get tickets?

Simply buy the tickets directly in our online store. To do this, select the option «Schoolclass» in the ticket selection area. The e-mail address must be in the name of the school.

Alternatively, we also offer invoice payments for school classes. Please contact us via e-mail: mail@explorial.com.

How long does an Explorial trail last?

Normally an Explorial trail lasts for 1.5 – 2 hours. However, we have found that students are faster than the average player. Most of our classes finish within 1 – 1.5 hours.

How short a notice can you give to start an Explorial trail?

Once a ticket has been purchased via the website, the game can be started. No reservation is necessary. Immediately after booking, the starting information will be sent by e-mail.

How does the game start?

All students must assemble at the starting point of each trail. Students can then split into smaller groups of no more than 8 players. The groups will start staggered so as not to be at the same stations at the same time.

How does the game end?

After the questions are solved at the last location, the trail is finished. The destination is different per trail.

Is a chaperone required?

It is not mandatory to have a chaperone. Inform the students in advance about the trail in question. Explain to them how to behave on the trail and what to look out for:

  • Communicate an exact starting point
  • Agree on a maximum end time, define a meeting point
  • Ensure that the teacher can be reached by telephone
  • Students are considerate and pay attention to traffic and the environment despite having a smartphone in hand.
